Idle Startup Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Idle Startup (the “App”), including related support channels at support@unko.fun.

By downloading or using Idle Startup, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Idle Startup

Idle Startup is an incremental/idle game where you build and grow a virtual AI startup company. Current features include:

  • User acquisition and growth mechanics
  • Revenue generation and cash management
  • Team hiring and employee systems
  • Feature development and upgrades
  • Prestige progression system
  • Offline resource accumulation
  • Achievements and milestones

2. Eligibility and Acceptable Use

You must be legally able to accept these Terms in your jurisdiction.

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
  • Use cheats, exploits, bots, or unauthorized third-party tools
  • Interfere with other players’ gameplay experience
  • Abuse or exploit bugs for unfair advantage
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions

3. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Idle Startup for personal entertainment purposes.

No ownership rights in Idle Startup are transferred to you.

4. In-App Purchases

Idle Startup may offer optional in-app purchases:

  • All purchases are processed through Apple’s payment systems
  • Purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by law
  • Virtual goods have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for real money
  • Prices may vary by region and are subject to change

For refund requests, please contact Apple Support directly, as we do not control the refund process.

5. Game Progress and Save Data

  • Game progress is stored locally on your device
  • We are not responsible for lost progress due to:
    • App deletion
    • Device loss, damage, or reset
    • Software updates or device changes
    • Failure to maintain backups
  • iCloud sync (if available) depends on your device settings
  • We reserve the right to reset or modify game data in cases of cheating or exploitation

6. Updates and Changes

We may:

  • Release updates, bug fixes, and new features
  • Modify game mechanics, balance, and content
  • Discontinue the App or certain features
  • Update these Terms at any time

Continued use of Idle Startup after an update means you accept the revised Terms and changes to the App.

7. Game Balance and Fair Play

To maintain a fair gaming environment:

  • We may adjust game balance, rates, and mechanics at any time
  • Exploiting bugs or using unauthorized tools may result in:
    • Progress reset
    • Feature restrictions
    • Account-level actions
  • We are not obligated to provide advance notice of balance changes

8. Third-Party Services

Idle Startup may integrate with:

  • Apple Game Center and related services
  • iCloud for save data synchronization
  • Third-party analytics services

Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Uninterrupted operation
  • Error-free performance
  • Compatibility with all devices

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Idle Startup and its operators are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of game progress, virtual goods, or data
  • Loss of profits, goodwill, or business opportunities
  • Any damages arising from your use of the App

If liability cannot be fully excluded, it is limited to the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Idle Startup and its operators from claims, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from:

  • Your misuse of the App
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of applicable law
  • Your interaction with other users (if applicable)

13. Termination

You may stop using Idle Startup at any time by deleting the App.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct harmful to the game or other players.

14. Intellectual Property

All content in Idle Startup, including but not limited to:

  • Game design and mechanics
  • Visual assets and artwork
  • Audio and music
  • Text and writing
  • Code and software

…is owned by or licensed to us and protected by intellectual property laws.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
